Everyday I see little changes here and there. The most annoying change is the way I gain and lose weight. I am very aware that I have to really watch what I eat BUT also when I eat. I have learned to be more diligent in my portion sizes and what types of food I eat together. For example I now make sure that I eat some type of protein with my breakfast as well as I have fruit with my lunch.
When you get certain food groups together they help your body to digest in a healthy and nourishing way. I follow a portion fix meal plan and throw in a modified version of Intermittent Fasting. I also have learned to MOVE MY BODY everyday for at least 30 minutes. When I don't, I retain water (in my stomach area which makes me look like my belly is hanging over my pants) and I have a harder time motivating myself to do ANYTHING. I will feel like I am tired all the time and very lethargic. Once I move my body it is AMAZING how much energy I will have for the rest of the day. BUT, tomorrow I go through the whole thing again. I have to re-motivate myself even though I know how much better I feel when I do these small, simple things. It is almost like my mind forgets while I am sleeping! CRAZY!
